Admission Process — 5 simple steps

From enquiry to enrolment. Most applicants complete the journey in 2–4 weeks.

1 · Download & complete the form

Get the official Application Form (below), fill every section in CAPITAL LETTERS, and attach clear copies of your certificates and a passport photo.

2 · Submit your application

Email the scanned form to admissions@kamagambo.ac.ke or deliver it to the Registrar's Office at the Rongo–Kisii Road campus. Pay the non-refundable application fee at submission.

3 · Verification & assessment

Our admissions team verifies your academic records and, where applicable, schedules a short placement conversation. You receive an acknowledgement within 5 working days.

4 · Offer of admission

Successful applicants receive a conditional Offer Letter stating the programme, intake and any conditions. Accept it and confirm your place.

5 · Pay fees & register

Pay the indicated tuition deposit (see Fee Structure), then report on orientation day to complete registration and collect your student ID.

Entry Requirements by Level

Direct-entry pathways for different academic backgrounds. Equivalent qualifications are assessed on a case-by-case basis.

Degree Programmes (4 years)

  • Bachelor of Education in Arts — mean grade C+ in KCSE with at least C in English and Mathematics; or a relevant diploma with credit.
  • Bachelor of Arts in Theology with Entrepreneurship — mean grade C (plain) in KCSE; divinity/ministry certificates considered.
  • Bachelor of Business Administration with Entrepreneurship — mean grade C+ in KCSE with C in Mathematics and English; or a business diploma with credit.

Diploma Programmes (2–3 years)

  • Mean grade C− (minus) in KCSE, or a certificate in a related field.
  • Diploma in Theology · Diploma in Teacher Education · Diploma in Secondary Teacher Education.

Certificate Programmes (1 year)

  • Mean grade D+ in KCSE, or a proven interest / prior learning in the field.
  • Certificate in Theology and other foundation certificates.
📌 In-Service (April / September / November) and Regular (January / May / September) intakes are available so working learners can study without leaving their posts.

Admissions FAQ

Yes. President William Ruto granted the institution a Letter of Interim Authority in September 2026, transitioning it from Kamagambo Adventist Teachers' College into an autonomous private university under the Seventh-day Adventist Church, approved by the Commission for University Education (CUE).

Absolutely. The In-Service mode (April, September, November intakes) is designed for serving teachers and professionals — evening and weekend-friendly scheduling lets you study without leaving your post.

Clear copies of your KCSE/terminal certificates, a national ID or passport, a recent passport-size photograph, and any prior tertiary qualification. Incomplete applications may delay processing.

Fees are payable via M-Pesa, bank transfer or at the finance office. See the Fee Structure page for amounts and paybill details.
